Early screen recognition

Emma Stone moved from local theatre in Arizona into television and film. Superbad and Zombieland preceded her first leading film role in Easy A. The Help and The Amazing Spider-Man then reached different audiences.

Award-winning leading roles

Birdman brought an Academy Award nomination before La La Land earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress. The Favourite began an important collaboration with Yorgos Lanthimos, continued through Poor Things, for which she won another Best Actress Oscar.

A producing dimension

Stone also received a Best Picture nomination as a producer of Poor Things. She co-founded Fruit Tree with Dave McCary. Her work on Broadway and in television series such as Maniac and The Curse adds to a career increasingly associated with formally adventurous projects.
